Jaytees BMW Orbit Grey B35 Dark BWA2288 is a dark grey metallic particulate basecoat colour common across the BMW range of alloy wheels on all model specs.

There is a common perception that 2 versions of the colour exist as “lighter” and “Darker” versions and whilst this isn’t strictly true it does appear that earlier wheels originating from certain countries of manufacture do appear a fraction lighter by virtue of higher visible metallic content.

Jaytees have two versions of Orbit grey accounting for this variance, See BWA3016 BMW Orbit grey B35 (lighter) and BWA2288 BMW Orbit Grey B35 (Darker)

A fast-drying, medium-temperature application, water-borne base coat that is suitable for powder coating as well as SMART repair. Can be flatted using abrasives and will not chip or flake when lathe cut. A range of compatible clear coats in both powder and wet material are also available. RFU (no thinning or shaking of the material required).
